Today’s concert continues the 2026 Take It Outside Concert Series which is sponsored by Navigant Credit Union and held in back of Blackstone River Theatre from 4-5 p.m.; chairs are provided or you can bring your own. In the event of rain or very high temps/humidity in the forecast, the concert moves inside. Tickets are also available at the gate!
The Chris Monti Band plays an upbeat mix of original music along with American, West African, Caribbean, country blues and folk songs. Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame inductee Marty Ballou plays bass and Grant Smith plays drums. Chris is a popular and respected Providence musician with almost 30 years of performing experience who plays in many settings. This show marks the third time Chris has performed at Blackstone River Theatre but the first with his talented trio!
