Our group fiddle classes will start up again in April, 2025.
Email [email protected] if you are interested in any level. Students must bring: own fiddle and bow, a music stand, and a recording device. Both playing by ear and some sight reading will be included. Players will be placed in all classes by the instructor’s evaluation of skill level. Prepayment necessary!
Winter/Spring 2025 Fiddle Classes – April through May
7-week GROUP FIDDLE CLASSES on TUESDAYS, 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. (75-minute class)
DATES: April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and May 6 and 20 (7-week session – $140)
7-week GROUP FIDDLE CLASSES on THURSDAYS, 7:30 – 8:45 p.m. (75-minute class)
DATES: April 3, 10, 24, and May 1, 8, 15 and 22 (7-week session – $140)
Cathy Clasper Torch is a multi-instrumentalist whose primary focus is fiddle/violin and piano. She combines her early classical training with love of improvisation and music of all genres and cultures.
