Our group fiddle classes will start up again in September, 2024.
Email [email protected] if you are interested in any level. Students must bring: own fiddle and bow, a music stand, and a recording device. Both playing by ear and some sight reading will be included. Players will be placed in all classes by the instructor’s evaluation of skill level. Prepayment necessary!
Fall 2024 Fiddle Classes – September through November
9-week GROUP FIDDLE CLASSES on TUESDAYS, 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. (75-minute class)
DATES: September 10, 17, 24, October 8, 15, 22, and November 5, 12, 19 (9-week session – $180)
8-week GROUP FIDDLE CLASSES on THURSDAYS, 7:30 – 8:45 p.m. (75-minute class)
DATES: September 12, 19, October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and December 12 (8-week session – $160)
Cathy Clasper Torch is a multi-instrumentalist whose primary focus is fiddle/violin and piano. She combines her early classical training with love of improvisation and music of all genres and cultures.
